A place where clinicians thrive
We built RLCBH with clinicians in mind — because when our team is supported, our clients get better care. Here's what that looks like in practice.
Clinical Supervision
Associates and interns receive consistent, high-quality individual and group supervision from licensed clinicians. We invest in your hours and your growth.
Manageable Caseloads
We don't overload our clinicians. Reasonable caseloads mean you can show up fully for each client — and go home without burning out.
Collaborative Team
Regular team meetings, peer consultation, and a genuine culture of support. We're not a production floor — we're a clinical community.
In-Person & Telehealth
We offer both office-based and telehealth positions, giving you flexibility in how you practice across Washington State.
Clear Growth Path
Whether you're working toward licensure or advancing your career as a licensed clinician, we provide a clear structure and genuine investment in your future.
Mission-Driven Work
We serve real people in our community — often those who face barriers to care. The work here matters, and the team here knows it.
Open Positions
We're looking for good people
We hire on an ongoing basis as we grow. If you're a licensed or associate-level clinician — or a graduate student looking for a practicum or internship placement — we want to hear from you.
Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
We're looking for compassionate, skilled LMHCs to join our growing team. In-person and telehealth positions available. Check back for future openings.
Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA)
We provide structured supervision hours for LMHCAs in a supportive, growth-focused environment. Check back for future openings.
Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist Associate (LMFTA)
We welcome LMFTAs passionate about working with couples and families. Check back for future openings.
Clinical Intern (Practicum or Internship Placement)
Are you a graduate student in a counseling or marriage and family therapy program looking for a practicum or internship site? RLCBH offers structured, supervised placements with real clinical experience, regular individual and group supervision, and a team that genuinely invests in training the next generation of mental health clinicians.
Strong interns are often considered for associate or licensed positions after graduation — this placement can be the first step toward a career with RLCBH.
Our Culture
We take care of our people
Mental health work is hard. We believe that the people doing this work deserve the same level of care and support they give to their clients.
That means clear communication, a team that shows up for each other, and leadership that's accessible and invested in your success.
Growth is expected and supported
We actively invest in your clinical development — not just your hours toward licensure, but your growth as a practitioner and professional.
Honest, open communication
We say what we mean and mean what we say. Leadership is accessible, and your voice matters in how we do things here.
Clear expectations
We're upfront about roles, responsibilities, and what it looks like to thrive here. No guessing games, no moving goalposts.
Rooted in community
We're a Clark County agency — deeply connected to the people and communities we serve. That sense of purpose runs through everything we do.
For Graduate Students
A practicum site that actually prepares you
Too many internship sites treat students as free labor. That's not how we operate. Our clinical intern program is built around your development — with the supervision, structure, and real-world exposure you need to become a confident, competent clinician.
Our Clinical Intern Director, Dr. Melinda Johnson, PhD, LMHC, oversees the program with a focus on genuine mentorship and training. Interns work with real clients, receive weekly individual and group supervision, and leave with the skills and hours to launch their careers.
And if you're a good fit, there may be a path to employment with us after graduation.
Weekly Individual Supervision
Regular 1:1 time with a licensed supervisor to review cases, build skills, and work through challenges.
Group Supervision
Peer consultation in a structured group format — a powerful component of clinical training often skipped at other sites.
Real Client Caseload
You'll work with actual clients under close supervision — not just observe. You'll graduate with real experience.
Documentation & Admin Training
We teach the practical realities of clinical practice — notes, treatment planning, compliance, and billing concepts.
Pathway to Employment
Strong interns are often considered for associate or licensed positions when they graduate. We invest in people we believe in.
