Common Questions
What you might be wondering
How quickly can I get an appointment?
After submitting your request, we typically follow up within 1–2 business days. Appointment availability varies by counselor, but we work to get you scheduled as soon as possible.
Do you accept my insurance?
We accept most major insurances including Medicaid/Apple Health, Regence, Kaiser, Premera, Aetna, and more. Contact us to verify your specific plan before your first appointment.
Can I meet with a counselor via telehealth?
Yes! We offer secure video and phone sessions for Washington State residents. Telehealth is available with most of our counselors and is covered by most insurances we accept.
What if I can't afford the full rate?
We offer intern counseling at a reduced cost, and some counselors offer sliding scale fees. We're committed to making care accessible — just ask us about your options when you reach out.
What should I expect at my first appointment?
Your first session is an intake — a conversation where your counselor gets to know you, understand what brings you in, and begin building a plan together. There's no pressure or judgment.
How do I know which counselor is right for me?
When you submit your request, we'll ask a few questions about your needs and preferences. We'll do our best to match you with a counselor who fits — and you can always ask to switch if needed.
