A clinic built by counselors,
for counselors

At RLCBH, our workplace is designed around the people doing the work — with real supervision, real support, and a team that genuinely cares about your growth.

We designed this place the way we wished we had been supported

Real Life Community Behavioral Health was founded by clinicians who understood firsthand what counselors need to do their best work — strong supervision, invested colleagues, appropriate caseloads, and a culture that takes clinician wellbeing seriously.

We serve Clark County, WA with a team of licensed counselors, associate counselors, and clinical interns who share a commitment to quality care. Our administrative structure is designed to support clinicians, not the other way around.

Whether you're a new graduate building toward licensure or an experienced clinician looking for a home with a values-driven team, you'll find a culture here that's collaborative, transparent, and genuinely invested in your success.

Our Commitment to Staff

Your growth is not an afterthought — it's the point

We invest in our counselors through consistent supervision, training opportunities, and a clinical environment where asking questions and learning from peers is celebrated, not just tolerated.

Our workplace values

🤝

Collaborative by Design

We don't operate in silos. Counselors consult with each other regularly, case conferences are welcomed, and leadership maintains an open-door approach to clinical questions and concerns.

🌱

Growth-Oriented

We celebrate where you are and invest in where you're going. From intern to associate to fully licensed clinician, we've built pathways to support your professional development at every stage.

🧭

Ethical & Transparent

Our leadership communicates openly about agency decisions, clinical policies, and the direction of the practice. We believe counselors deserve to understand the place where they work.

⚖️

Sustainable Caseloads

Burnout doesn't help clients. We intentionally structure caseloads to be clinically meaningful without being depleting — so our counselors can show up fully for every client they serve.

🎓

Invested Supervision

Our supervision is real — engaged, reflective, and tailored to where you are clinically. For interns and associates working toward licensure, quality supervision is one of our highest commitments.

💛

People First

We ask how our counselors are doing and mean it. We recognize that the people providing care need care too — and we try to model that at every level of our organization.

What you can expect when you join us

1

A real onboarding experience

You'll be introduced to our team, workflows, and clinical culture before you're expected to carry a full caseload. We want you to feel oriented, not thrown in — with colleagues you already know by name.

2

Clear expectations and support structures

You'll know what's expected of you and who to go to when you need help. Our administrative and clinical leadership are accessible, and our documentation and billing systems are designed to reduce friction, not create it.

3

Consistent, meaningful supervision

Supervision at RLCBH is a working relationship, not a formality. Whether you're an intern building hours toward licensure or an associate working toward independent practice, your supervisor is invested in your development.

4

A team that's glad you're here

Joining RLCBH means joining a team that takes culture seriously. We recognize that the way we treat each other shapes the way we show up for clients — and we work hard to get that right.

What comes with working here
