Depression, Anxiety, Men's Issues, Substance Use Disorder, Grief, Trauma, Teens & Adults, CBT, ACT, Mindfulness. Hello, my name is Nicholas Bernard and I am a third year graduate student working towards a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health from Liberty University. Though my undergraduate degree was in History and I pursued a career in craft beer brewing for nearly ten years, I felt called by a mid-life career change towards the field of therapy and counseling. My motivation to do so is prompted by the desire to hear people's stories, their struggles, and creating a collaborative, trusting relationship between counselor and client that fosters insightful solutions from within. I am a Louisiana native but have been living in the Northwest for the past 12 years where I try to enjoy outdoor recreational activities such as hiking and mountain biking that this beautiful area has to offer.
